This blog is intended to be a space for
sharing thoughts on contemporary and topical issues which touch the lives of people
across all strata of society. The scope of these issues straddle the BEING of
the individual that drives behaviour as well the DOING in actions and
responses.
Subject matters will invariably touch on
values, principles, and policies. Which in turn will point in various
directions as sharers agree or disagree on any given point. It is to be
understood that this blog takes no responsibility for postings but at the same
time offensive, defamatory and slanderous contributions not in the spirit of
constructive sharing and mutual learning, will be removed.
This blog is intended to be maintained
simply at a pace manageable for the owner. Users are requested not to expect it
to be managed "professionally" as limited resources are available for
maintenance.
It is hoped that the blog will attract a
niche group of like-minded individuals who may not necessarily agree on every issue
or indeed any issue, but be of the same ilk in terms of maturity, understanding,
tolerance, shared universal values of respect, value ascribed to diversity
& due process in critical thinking regardless of conclusion, and common desire
to share and learn. This can also be a platform for the setting up of special
interest groups and project groups.
Postings will be put up at random intervals
which each thread will be allowed to continue between a week and two weeks.
